These three words are closely interconnected and in continuation of one followed by the next one. Information is merely a collection of data through different means. These include observations, past literature, questionnaires and interviews etc. These days, there are heaps of information on Internet. Sometimes a person is confused which website be selected and which not. Therefore, first of all, one must be aware on relevance of the required information and establish an approach based on neutrality and impartiality. Due to complexity of available information it is said that "KNOWLEDGE IS LOST IN INFORMATION". Some people having information and information alone start claiming or believing that they have become scholars and philosophers having ultimate knowledge. But "INFORMATION IS NOT KNOWLEDGE".
Knowledge is derived from impartial analysis of information. Initially, a person having numerous information becomes proud of being most knowledgeable. But if he continues his journey forward for learning more and more and when he reaches a point to realize that "He does know nothing" and there is a vast world of knowledge which he is totally unaware of or is ignorant about many many areas of knowledge or in other words he knows that he does not know. That is the stage where he actually STARTS LEARNING. Then he reviews his collected information and starts knowing more and adequately deriving knowledge from the information and the journey continues.
There is a variety of Knowledge and some times there are heaps of knowledge. But KNOWLEDGE IS NOT WISDOM. That is why it is said that "WISDOM IS LOST IN KNOWLEDGE". Then what is wisdom? Wisdom is true application of knowledge, standing bravely in accord to the requirements of knowledge. Knowledge is power and can be misused by the evil genius in the wrong direction for personal and immediate benefits. True wisdom demands sacrifices and sacrifices equipped with knowledge leads to a high quality of Revolution and Revolution and Revolution. Therefore Knowledge is power but also equipped with Physical Courage or Bravery. True wisdom does not consider its personal losses or benefits. Its destination is much higher. Thus information, knowledge and wisdom are interconnected in a continuous and straightforward path.
(Inspired from the story of Saul and Goliath described in the Holy Quran 2: 246-252 and particularly from 2:247 "Indeed, Allah has chosen him (Saul or Hadhrat Taloot a.s.) over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature (physical courage)".
